SSC #137 Happy Heart Day With Sock Monkey

In Playing along with Stamping411 I grabbed my sock monkey stamp set and made a  pink sock monkey. I used the Sweet Pea DSP, 5/8″ Satin Ribbon in whisper white, a button and some linen thread. It didn’t turn out exactly how I expected it to. tomorrow is another day : )

Box Of Chocolate And Mini Card

Here is a quick and simple way to give a valentine. And it’s filled with chocolate.   This project can me made really quickly.. Or you can add more detail and really glam it up. I figured the DSP and the chocolate speak for themselves!  I had fun making this one. Or should I say… filling this one. It went… One for the box , one for me, one for the box . . and so on. Let’s just say.. I got my chocolate fix . Here is the template for the Box pattern

You’ll find the template for the box here Box pattern.

Valentine Love Birds

I made the card 6 x 1/2″ x 3″ It fits perfectly In the Stampin’ Up whisper white small open end envelopes I love the size of this card. Something a little different than the usual A2 card
I used Stampin Up Basic Black cardstock and DCWV black and white prints for the paper front. I stitched around the card and distressed it slightly by tearing at the edge lightly and inking around it with Stampin Up Basic Black classic ink . I stamped the birds on whisper white  with the Real Red and Basic Black Stampin Up  markers and punched the image out with Stampin Up’s 1-3/8″ circle punch. And then used Basic Black paper and the Scallop circle punch to layer under the birds I dotted all around the scallop circle with the white gel pen. Then I stamped the birds again on some word definition paper, cut them out and layered them on top of the birds. Added some ribbon, Ric Rac and three black brads.

I had some scrap pieces of Pink Pirouette cardstock  and the Bella Rose designer series polka dot paper so I thought Id use the template provided to us Stampin Up demonstrators on our demonstrator website and create pouch for some hershey kisses.
I used the Pink Pirouette Cardstock, Bella Rose designer series paper, I punched circles with the pink to layer across the pouch and I used some flowers. I sponged one of the flowers with Riding Hood Red Stampin Up classic ink added a pink brad and then I took some Riding Hood Red scrap paper , corrugated and cut it into strips to add in the pouch with the candy kisses. Not bad for a very quick project.
