Summer Mini – A Little Bit Of Magic & Elements Of Style

I used a stamp set A Little Bit Of Magic from the Stampin’ Up! Summer Mini Catalog.

A Little Bit Of Magic

Summer Mini Catalog #120033

Cardstock used is crushed curry, lavender lace, old olive and naturals white .

The image was colored with Stampin’ Up Classic inks, in the same colors as the cardstock. Using the aqua painter .

I distressed the edges of the two layers using the Stampin’ Up! cutter kit.

And the background was embossed with the Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folder – Flowers

The next card didn’t turn out so well. I tried something different . I used the top note die to make this card. Attaching two of the die cuts using glossy white paper. I used the brayer on the tope note die with Bashful blue and Always artichoke classic ink. Right away after I did that. I used my spray bottle and spritzed some water onto the top note. Using the flowers from the Elements Of Style stamp set. I stamped the image and colored it in with the aqua painter. Using Always Artichoke, Certainly Celery and Rose red.

Paper Punched Sheep

I was perusing the gallery at splitcoaststampers and I saw this adorable card and just had to make/ case it .I’ve seen this sheep before all over the internet. I’m not sure who came up with it. But it’s super cute. I used a few of the scalloped circles . Broke down the fibers on the paper and tore each layer apart. So is looks fuzzy-ish. I love the punched art. And I love punches. They make for quick fun cards.

For this card.I used a scrap piece of patterned paper. not sure who makes it. Stampin’ Up! Kraft paper, Basic Black And Whisper White.I added a black button and some white grosgrain ribbon. totally easy and super quick. I cut the miss ewe using my cricut and some Basic Black paper. Of course I add to add those fun googly, wiggly eyes.

I think It may need some doodle lines around the card. So I will probably add those and see how it looks.

Graduation Tent Card

Grad Card

Needed a few graduation cards. It’s that time of year already. Time sure is flying by. I thought I would start out with a simple card . It’s called a tent card. I made the vertical version of a tent card and wanted it to be masculine. All I did is punch out a square to stamp the Congrats using the Stampin’ Up! stamp set Four Square #111632 The paper used is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White , Brilliant Blue, And Basic Black. Ink is Classic brilliant blue. I used a brad. Then made my own tassle with some dmc floss.

It’s a quick card to make and I like the tent card. I found an easy turtorial on this wonderful blog right here. There is a tutorial for both the vertical as well as horizontal tent card. She did a great job with her tutorial and it’s easy to follow.
