My Brayer & Stampin’ Up! Autumn Days

This is my very first ever attempt at using the brayer to make a background scene. Okay. So , I need some more practice. But I’d say it’s not too shabby for my first attempt. I had a lot of fun with it… That’s what counts. . . . . Right?

I also added some linen thread.  I could have went on to add a brad, button or hardware.  maybe I will. looking at it . . seems it could use that added touch.

heart the perfect details texture plate as well. I just spritzed up the cardstock with alcohol before running it through my big shot. It really makes a difference.

Batty For You Treat Boxes

I love treat boxes and here is a couple I made for Halloween. I used the Stampin’ Up! rubber stamp set  Batty For you #116576 It’s a cute set that works prefectly with the Stampin’ Up! 1-3/8 and 1-1/4″ circle punches.

Batty For You

For the first one . I used the cricut tags , bags boxes & more.

right below are the templates for the other two .

The next one is the french fry box .

The last one is the round top box.

You can use them for any occassion or holiday and they are fun to make. Filling them is also fun. Because while I’m filling them… why not sneak a couple treats for myself.

Mojo Monday 105 Lovely As A Tree

Here’s This weeks Mojo Monday Sketch

Mojo105Sketch

I used the Oak leaves and acorn from the Stampin’ Up! stamp set Lovely As A Tree. And the designer series paper  Autumn Traditions , Soft Suede , More Mustard and Kraft cardstock. Used the 1-3/8″ and 1-1/4″  Stampin’ Up! Circle Punches  I also took some retired river rock ribbon and colored it with the Stampin’ Up! Always Artichoke Classic Ink. I’m thinking the Oak leaves don’t show up very well with this layout. maybe I’ll switch out the image later. I colored in the image with the aqua painter and Stampin’ Up! More Mustard , Ruby Red and Creamy Caramel Classic Ink.

September Iron Chef 6X6 Recipe Cards

Jessica’s September’s challenge was for us to make a 6X6 recipe page for zucchini. My assigned category was for a baked dish. I chose Baked Zucchini Chips.  We were challenged to do a color on color theme. I tried… but managed to slip another color on to it without thinking. Hopefully the ones I made are acceptable. I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set (retired) Stippled Stencils and stamped the background paper.
